I am trying to follow to retrieve the latest and greatest 14.06beta version of Allseen by following what is here: https://wiki.allseenalliance.org/develop/downloading_the_source

However, when running

repo init -u https://git.allseenalliance.org/gerrit/devtools/manifest -b refs/tags/v14.06_beta -m versioned.xml

I get error: in init -u https://git.allseenalliance.org/gerrit/devtools/manifest -b refs/tags/v14.06_beta -m versioned.xml --repo-url=https://gerrit.googlesource.com/git-repo --repo-branch=stable: revision refs/tags/v14.06_beta in manifests not found

Hi @praetp, I think the command

repo init -u https://git.allseenalliance.org/gerrit/devtools/manifest -b refs/tags/v14.06_beta -m versioned.xml

could be wrong. If you try to go in ( https://git.allseenalliance.org/cgit/devtools/manifest.git/refs/?h=RB14.06&id=ce9fe4a43a4f1ac1391ddbb978d2f53f5f3fc85a ) you can notice that under the tag label there isn't a v14.06_beta reference. I sugest you to use the following command:

repo init -u https://git.allseenalliance.org/gerrit/devtools/manifest -b RB14.06 -m versioned.xml

Reading this report ( https://git.allseenalliance.org/cgit/devtools/manifest.git/commit/versioned.xml?h=RB14.06 ) you will see that the versioned.xml manifest is related to the v14.06_beta.

thanks for your post, Best Regards.

Do you mean the master branch?

Yes, indeed. I could just checkout the master branch of course :-)

to download the master branch you could use the " repo init -u https://git.allseenalliance.org/gerrit/devtools/manifest " command.

Actually, the command on the Wiki was correct, but we did not update the tag on the manifest. That has been fixed now, so the command should now work.
