Adding image to UI hints of Control Panel Application

Hello,

I have already created a simple control panel prototype for my android device through the XML UI Element Descriptors found in the AllJoyn Thin Client. I am just wondering if there are properties in the XML that can be used to add an image to a UI hint such as an actionButton? So that the control panel will look better.

Thank you very much.

Best Regards, Darrell

Currently such a UI hint is not available as part of the AllJoyn Control Panel service framework. The Controller side of the framework is composed of 2 parts, the base control panel service, and the UI Toolkit Adaption Layer. This adaptation layer is what uses the hints to then figure out what platform specific UI element (such as an actionButton, TextBox, Spinner, etc. on Android) to use to render each control. So, this adaptation layer would need to be modified to support such a hint, as would the underlying control panel service code, including adding a mechanism for the controlee to supply and then transfer such an image to any Controllers (similar to the About Icon interface).
