Can the AllJoyn onboarding support Apple devices?

According to some reports, Apple HomeKit will support WiFi, Bluetooth, and ZigBee (http://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1322557&). Does anyone have information pertaining to Apple's plans on pairing the iPhone/iPad with other devices?

AllJoyn Onboarding will function when a device that is to be onboarded implements the Onboarding service.. IE the application performing the onboarding and the device being onboarded must speak AllJoyn. Just having a Wi-Fi radio or ability to be controlled by another device does not guarantee that AllJoyn Onboarding will be present, this is up to an OEM to add into their products. Please see the spec here.

A device that can be onboarded by AllJoyn Onboarding implements the Onboarding interface. The software for this implementation is open source and hosted on git.allseenalliance.org. Having an open source implementation avoids sole interpretation of a spec and promotes Interoperability.
