Hi
I am trying to use the console application on Ubuntu 14 and for that followed the steps given in the documentation. I tried with the Download precompiled binaries section and followed the following steps

  1. Downloaded AllJoyn.js Linux (alljoyn_js-0.0.1-linux.zip)and unzipped it
  2. exported ALLJOYN_DIST to point to the location of liballjoyn.so obtained in the previous step
  3. Downloaded Console Linux (alljoyn_js-console-0.0.1-linux.zip) and unzipped it
  4. Executed the ./ajs_console file from the above unzipped folder

Now this gives an error

undefined synmbol: AllJoynInit

Are there any other steps to be carried out to resolve this error?

Thanks and Regards
Amit

well, you should export the LD_LIBRARY_PATH like this: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/home/user/$ALLJOYN_ROOT/core/alljoyn/build/linux/x86_64/debug/dist/cpp/lib

Thanks Christian for suggesting the environment variable. However, even after adding the variable, I am still getting the same error message.
