Hello,

I've been trying to figure out how to code/use Alljoyn. I've tried several times to get the ball rolling but can't find any introductory tutorials. It's easy to find walls of marketing text but no coding tutorials. Can the developers make a few youtube tutorials showing how to start off coding Alljoyn?

For example: an Android hello world. Please no more guys behind a podium with a slide show of flow charts and walls and walls of marketing text. lol. Basically: Start the screen capture, download this Alljoyn SDK, open Android studio, make a new project, what Jars need to be imported and whatever other environmental stuff needs to be added. Some simple code to talk to something else. Another hello word tutorial for MS visual studio Express would also be great. Then have Android talk to Windows. I think this would be a great way to get more developers using Alljoyn.

I write this kind of laughing. I've tried several times to start with Alljoyn. From all the marking text, flow charts, old Android Eclipse code, and GIT repositories, I can't seem to get the ball rolling on this. I have to admit defeat on this one, the detective work is just too much. But all the Marketing says how easy it is to use ... lol.

Thanks for your time. Looks like you have fantastic ideas. Wish I could joyn in. :)

i second this request. I got an alljoyn android app to work, but only via the cordova alljoyn plugin, which has slightly better startup guidance than the main SDK. Currently i'm trying to get started on creating a linux app, but beyond editing the existing apps, i really don't know how to start off.

Start here to build the sample applications. Then run {here}(https://allseenalliance.org/framework/documentation/develop/run-sample-apps/basic/linux). Let me know if you have issues.
