Dear all

I have two PC: A and B.
The OS in A is Ubuntu 14.04, and is already implemented it as a gateway agent by following steps in https://wiki.allseenalliance.org/gate... .
The OS in B is Windows 10, i know that Windows 10 natively supports AllJoyn, now i want to use A to run some AllJoyn implementations with B, for example: use A to config B, use A to reboot B.

How to do this? How to implement Windows 10 as a AllJoyn client? Do i need install anything in B? Are there any documents i can refer to?
Thanks a lot.

Windows 10 can run producer and consumer apps as Universal Windows Apps, easily built using the AllJoyn Studio extension for Visual Studio. For examples, see the AllJoyn producer and consumer samples from Microsoft’s Universal Windows App GitHub.

For more details, see our Getting Started guide.

Additionally, you can use the AllSeen SDK for Windows to create a consumer or producer and run it as a Classic Windows app (aka Windows 7 Desktop); however, we firmly believe our AllJoyn Studio solution is much more user-friendly.

Happy Coding, Brian

After checking the Windows-universal-samples, it needs Windows 10 phone and windows server 2016, but now i want to use Ubuntu 14.04 with gateway agent as the server, and windows 10 as the client. Is it possible for doing some AllJoyn implementation (EX: config, reboot...) from Ubuntu to windows 10?

The Microsoft VisualStudio 2015 AllJoyn extension creates managed C++ code for the Windows 10 platforms and results in a Windows Universal component; however this is not able to be utilised from within any ASP.NET v5 (xplat) applications (see: github http://www.github.com/aspnet issues)

I'm working on a solution for ASP.NET v5 to allow AllJoyn to work under .NET coreclr under linux/osx & windows similar to the Kestrel project which is a HTTP server that works xplatform using libuv.
