Hi, I have just started to look into alljoyn android framework, I have managed to build one basic application using alljoyn chat application code, now i am trying to explore following two areas in alljoyn :-

  1. How to use cloud in alljoyn sample chat application (currently it works only on local wifi)
  2. By when it is expected to support bluetooth transport ?

I would appreciate if someone can provide relevant links to look for cloud enabled application using alljoyn.

  1. There is a working group for whats called the Gateway Agent which allows AllJoyn traffic into the cloud. Here is their wiki: https://wiki.allseenalliance.org/gateway/gatewayagent

  2. BTLE support is currently limited and only up to date with the 14.12 release. Here is the link to the current code base: https://git.allseenalliance.org/cgit/core/alljoyn.git/tree/?h=feature/btle-transport

The btle-transport branch code does not support Android Devices. Here's a link to the description of the supported setup: https://ask.allseenalliance.org/question/2079/alljoyn-ble-setup-btle-transport-branch/
