OpenWRT feed for the Gateway Agent?

Will there be an OpenWRT feed which includes the Gateway Agent (similar to core/openwrt_feed) anytime soon?

Or is the GA supposed to be built in a different way? Am I supposed to create my own package definition in openwrt and point out the source from the gwagent project, or rather point out the tools from openwrt in the gwagent project? Will the latter result in an installable ipkg package?

I have a feeling that this should be rather straight forward and easy to describe, but I have not found such documentation anywhere.

I have successfully built, deployed and run the alljoyn-daemon and samples from the core feed on an OpenWRT router.

I would appreciate any starting points that help me build and deploy the GA on OpenWRT.

Thanks, Markus

this change is now merged. gateway should be trivially available to openwrt. https://git.allseenalliance.org/gerrit/#/c/3348/ on the feature/gateway branch

I tried to change the alljoyn feed branch to feature/gateway and the feed is found, but the build fails due to download failure of http://downloads.openwrt.org/sources/alljoyn-0.0.1-src.tar.gz I suspect that the PKG_VERSION in the feed's Makefiles should not be set to 0.0.1?

you might file a bug for this.

This is not a bug. Packages on the master branch are considered "in development". As such you are expected to have enough experience with OpenWrt and packaging to get it to build. Once that package makes it out to the release branches then it will be trivially buildable within OpenWrt.
