Hi All,

Iam trying to compile alljoyn java SDK to fit in 'qualcomm Gobi IoE board' [runs with java ME sdk], but getting lots of dependency errors/conflictions. And this qualcomm IoE board supports oracle-java ME edition ONLY.

Just wanted to understand does alljoyn SDK developed on java supports both standard edition (SE) and micro edition (ME) or NOT.

Please clarify.

Regards, Raghu

It would be helpful to provide additional details of the target board viz. (a) which high-level operating system is the board running, and (b) is it possible to run native C/C++ code on the board. AllJoyn Java SDK is a Java binding over a C++ core. Thus, the specific details of board are important.

Hi Praveenb, Thanks for your response. Please find the requested info below: It's a Qualcomm IoE Gobi board. Below link gives more info on it. https://developer.qualcomm.com/internet-everything-ioe-development-platform 1) The board runs on BREW OS 2) we cannot run c/c++ code on this board. Only JAVA ME sdk is supported on it. Regards, Raghu

As mentioned in the comments the, AllJoyn Java SDK is a language binding that uses JNI to access the C++ code that the AllJoyn software is natively written in. There is no implementation built purely in the Java language. As such it would not work on this type of device unless some porting work is done to take the AllJoyn software to this OS/Environment.
